In the war of URL shortens,Youtube has been launched URL shortens service YouTu.be.It’s ![youtube logo nov08 thumb YouTube Has been Launched URL Shortens YouTu.be [New Service]](http://www.technogati.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/youtube_logo_nov08.png "youtube_logo_nov08"){kind=logo}
just like as TinyURL.
To use youtu.be manually, simply take a URL like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdeioVndUhs and replace the”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=” with “http://youtu.be/” to get: http://youtu.be/FdeioVndUhs Plug that shorter URL into a browser, and you’ll see it redirects to that video.

Whats the use of this. the URL just got shortened by 5 characters. Also it is a redirecter. Use bit.ly or tr.im.

I must admit it took me time to figure out for how to use this. lol
URLs which have endings like feature=related, feature=popular or channel confused me a bit.
Anyway I think that this is a good move for youtube, have to follow shortening trends…
