All subscriptions require confirmation by the address owner, and subscriptions can be disabled at any time – the subscriber is in full control of what they receive.

Do you know if there will be some stats on how many followers open their mail, CTR, etc? It looks like we finally can get rid of Feedburner if we start to use this.

well, pretty much everything that feedburner already dose, and effectively too. i actually leave these subscription and stuff to feedburner as the users these days are more confident to sighup in the feedburner than any other 3rd party options…

I agree with Uttoran about users trusting Feedburner more than others. I currently use Feedburner as I I can view it via Gmail settings. I have all details in one location.
