Day #12: How To Customize Search Engine Friendly Urls

Step:#1

Login to the Admin panel of your WordPress blog.

Step #2:

Click on Permalinks under the Setting tab on the dashboard.

You’ll find following url structure under default which is not search engine friendly url.We can say it “Ugly”.It doesn’t look nice.

Then how to choose your own Search Engine friendly Url ?

It is very simple to choose your own Search engine friendly url.Follow the steps to optimize Search Engine friendly Urls of your blog.

1. Go on Permalinks Setting under the setting tab on your admin panel.
2. Check the Radio Button of “Custom Structure” and fill the following Tags:

/%postname%.html

3. Click on Save.

Good news for Reliance users as yesterday Reliance Communications announced the launch of SMS based voice conference calls which is an extension of its ts product Group Talk, a handset independent Mobile Conferencing service.

The Group service will be made available to all Reliance Mobile GSM and CDMA subscribers using any handset through the ‘SMS based Mobile Conferencing and the subscribers will have to pay Rs. 40 per month to avail this service.With the help of this Group Talk service the users will be able to to establish a conference call amongst a group of 9 contacts with a single SMS.

Group Talk feature was launched in the start of year 2009 itself as mobile conferencing and it was available on on handsets with Brew, Symbian operating systems, Java and Blackberry handsets but now this service is available to any handset.

If you want to initiate a conference call you will have to send a SMS in the format CHAT to 51234323 and all the group members will be notified via a SMS giving the Conference Dial-in number.

The post paid subscribers will have to dial dial the unique number given at the time of group creation, which in turn will dial all the group members within the group to establish an instant call conference.

Bharti Airtel has announced today that it will be launching its 3G services before the end of 2010.We have already posted that TATA DoCoMo will launch 3G by Diwali and Vodafone demonstrates 3G services in India.

Airtel has bid for 3G in 13 telecom circles in India which includes the metros Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad as these are expected to have a stronger uphold of 3G services.

Airtel will be using the high speed packet access (HSPA) networks provided by Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Network and Huawei.

Airtel is also discussing with other quality operators to offer 3G services to its customers in the country which will be useful in offering 3G broadband to the users apart from providing roaming services.

Sanjay Kapoor, CEO (India and South Asia) of Bharti Airtel said,“3G services will mark the beginning of the next phase of India’s telecom growth story and elevate India’s telecom sector at par with most advanced telecom markets in the world. 3G”.
