Are you using WordPress 2.8 ? Then you must faced some bugs on visual editor & tags updates on above said version.Not you but I also faced the same problem.I upgraded my blog to WordPress 2.8.I was doing all things like posts updates etc on my PC using Window XP and I did not  found any bug on WordPress 2.8 .But when  I used my laptop with Window Vista for blog post updates the Visual Editor of WordPress 2.8 was not working properly.I was shocked I thought my laptop might having problem Or may be Window Vista is not compatible with WordPress 2.8.But I got the following solution from Google search.

See how I removed the bug on WordPress 2.8 .

I edited the file “ wp-config.php ”

I Added following line define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );

The bug has removed.
