The anchor text is important part of search engine optimization.
Anchor Text
The anchor text, link label or a link title is the visible text in a hyperlink. The words contains in the anchor text can determine the ranking that the page will receive by search engines.
Example: I learnt from the teacher how to make money online. Blog is the best source for making money online.
In above example shows that make money online is hyperlink and linked with another important page which is relevant with money making, make money keywords.
Note: An anchor text contains the characters below 60(This the term of search engines)
Some time bloggers tend to misunderstand anchor text, instead of turning appropriate words inside of a sentence into clickable link, Blogger frequently insert extra text such as:
Technogati redesigned its home page yesterday. To know more: Click here.
This is not a proper method.
The more concise way of coding that would be:
Technogati redesigned its home page yesterday.
This proper method of linking is beneficial not only to users but also to blog owner because this anchor text holds significant weight in search engine ranking.
Anchor text is ranked highly in search engine algorithm, because the linked text is usually relevant to the landing page.

I normally use “click here” or “here” for external links. It’s the only way if the sentence has really no way of repeating the word to be anchored over and over again. Hyper linking that way will help the article look natural to SE.

Anchor words if used intelligently can get you a lot of SEO benefits.
