For some bloggers (like me) Twitter is the best tool to promote the blog posts.Did you try to track the clicks on twitter links of your tweeted posts?

No problem.

You can track the clicks on your tweeted posts on Twitter links very easily.
Bit.ly is one of the best sources for click tracking on Twitter links. Just shorten your blog post on bit.ly and Tweet on Twitter and start counting the clicks on the link which you have tweeted on twitter.

Just check the example of technogati’s blog post. One of my blog pots “5 Killer ways to promote your blog posts received 38 clicks on Twitter.

Just remember to sign up as well. It Bit.ly will show you a few of your past links even though you are not a member, but if you change IP or remove your cookies (not sure what it goes after) you will lose all of your links. So, remember to sign up!

Bit.ly shows number of clicks which will motivate you to share more links over Twitter. You can also try Su.pr to track the links.

I am right there with you Bit.ly is the one I prefer to use as well, I even have a server side link shortner Plugin that I use and I prefer Bit.ly instead of it.
