The Internet made possible for anyone to publish content to a worldwide audience. The Web log, or blog format, has made it easier and more convenient. But all blogs are not created equal. Some draw an eager following and others languish in obscurity. Regardless of your reason for blogging, you can make your blog better, more readable and–if it’s what you want–more popular.

Here are Some Ways Which Helps To Make Your Blogging Better

  • Motive of the Blogging

The first step in make your blogging better is to ask yourself why you’re blogging. What’s the motive of your blog? Is it to be a public version of the personal diary? Is it more of a journal, where you preserve ideas and outline projects? Is it a social site, for interacting with friends, sharing links, getting to know people? Is it an editorial page, for commentary on politics, social trends, and current events? Is it a professional or hobbyist site, for sharing conceptual and how-to information about some field of study or work (e.g.,technology, computer programming, or photography)?

In keeping with your blog’s purpose, you should have a defined theme. For example, if the purpose of your blog is to share the  technology experience, the theme might be to guide the readers about Technology.

  • Create an Elegant Layout:

Content is not everything. If your blog is a full of good content but not layout properly then it will not worthy to you.Because unsystematically content will irritate the readers and they can leave your blog soon. The best visual design for the page is dependent in part on your audience and theme. You can use color, font styles, and graphics to set the mood and tone–just make sure the tone matches the content.

  • Make it Easy To Navigate

Make your blog design as simple as possible.Use simple navigation system.Avoid to use Java scripted navigation or pop ups navigations. It is important to make it easy for readers to navigate.I’ll recommend you to use navigation links in the header section because it is more visual to the readers.

  • Stay on the Topic

Many bloggers doesn’t stay on the topic they selected. After few days they start experimenting with the blog.Don’t do it.Just stick with the topic which you have selected.

  • Use The Proper Tools

Select the proper blogging platform like WordPress,Movable or Blogger. But I’ll recommend WordPress.Because you can host your blog on your private server.Private hosting is better then public hosting.Private hosting gives the options to modify and manage your blog as you want.

  • Engage Your Readers

If you want to blogging better, then you must engage your readers.Keep them stick with your blog.Give them the opportunity to comment, discuss on the blog.Respond their questions.Solve their problems.Try to attract more and more readers on your blog.

  • Discipline Discipline Discipline

I am a fan of Indian Army Officers because they follows the discipline properly. You just make your habit to use the scheduling for blog post.If you are blogging daily based then make your habit to publish your article daily.Don’t break the cycle.

  • Proof Reading Before You Publish the Post

Check the errors or spell mistakes before you click on publish button.Sometimes our finger splits on the another word.So correct the errors like typography, content setting or grammar mistakes.

  • Syndicate Your Content

Use content syndication for your blog like RSS feeds etc.If you have optimized your blog for syndication then your readers can read your blog in the RSS readers of their choice without coming on your blog again and again.
