Do you Dream of Creating a Massive Blog

Your blog is not getting handsome amount of subscribers.

Right?

This is not a magic. Only few bloggers creates massive blogs. Rest of the bloggers fails or they stop the blogging on the midway. I am not disappointing you but saying the reality.

Recently the famous blogger Leo Babuta of Zen Habits has published an eBook about “How I Got 100, 000 Subscribers in two years”

This is not a magic but think about it “how he got 100,000 Subscribers in two years”.

I am also one of you who dreams of creating a massive blog like Leo. Don’t you?

I have learned a lesson from Leo which I am sharing with you.This is not a magic to create a massive blog but it depends upon blogging strategy and some of other factors.

• It takes long time:

I believe on the saying “Rome was not built in a day”. If you thinking to grow your blog in the short span of time, I would like to say you are wrong. Blogging is a journey and there is no destination. If have started your journey then you go ahead. It takes long time to reach on heights.

Every bloggers starts from zero .Just study the voyage of a blogger like Amit Agrawal or Darren Rowse.I am watching to Amit Agrwal and Darren Rowse.When I had found Amit’s blog he had 24445 subscribers and Darren Rowse had 54400.But today Amit has approx 54000 readers and Darren has 121000 readers.

They both have grown their above given readers in a year. But think their previous readers number.

It takes time to grow.

• Develop your own Voice:

You just think about Michael Jackson. His style of dancing and singing,

Amazing. Because he developed his own style of singing and dancing in the crowd of dancers and singers. So he became popular.

Why Problogger Darren Rowse,Yaro stark or Amit Agrawal is popular blogger, because they have developed their own style of blogging. Try to create your own style of blogging. Be unique.

• Read others:

Read others. I am not saying to read other blogs and ignore your own blog. But follow the others. Read some top blogs related your niche. Study their style, writing and their voice so you can develop your own.

• Don’t waste your time:

Leo Says “I can still remember my state of mind when I started the blog.Blogging was a mystery to me, and every day was a learning experience. When I discovered Google Adsense, and that it took nothing to be able to make money on a blog - well, I have to admit that for a second or two, I had dreams of making it rich just by inserting some Adsense code into my blog. That didn’t last for long, as I couldn’t make 5 cents a day in the beginning… even though I was checking my Adsense earnings every 20 minutes! Apparently, Adsense doesn’t reward you for checking frequently - I thought for sure I should have gotten a few cents each time I logged in!”

I am completely agreed with Leo. This is the wastage of your time to check adsense account, site stats. Make the habit to check these only once a day. In starting every blogger do like me. Don’t you?

• Focus on your content and readers engagement:

Focus on your content. Your content should be beneficial for readers. Don’t ignore your readers. Ask them what they want to read.

• Start with goal:

If you are making the blog for your income source then focus on the blog only.

• Marketing Strategy:

Frame your marketing strategy of your blog. How people will know about your blog. If you have finance then advertise your blog using PPC programs Like Adwords,Paid press release,kontera or any other advertisement programs. But if you have spare time then focus on social networking on Twitter, facebook, StumbleUpon or YouTube etc.

Participate in forums, comments on other blogs related you blog topic. I am sure you can get huge amount of blog readers.

• Branding:

Hmm Pepsi, Coke or McDonald? Why these brands are popular?

The image of Pepsi, Coke or McDonald has living in our mind. When we see the logo of McDonald the image comes out the brain and says I am the Pizza master.

These brands are so popular because they have created their brand logos. Whether you are watching TV or you are waiting for a taxi on a stand you can see McDonald is everywhere. Because they have created unique logo and spread it across the world.

• Flood the market:

Spread the identity of your blog all over the blogsphere.

Post guest articles on other blogs with some backlinks, Post your article on Digg,StumbleUpon or tweet  on twitter with back links.

If you can create an ebook which can worthy for people you start giving it free like Leo Babuta.

These steps can bring the huge amount of traffic to your blog.

One day your dream can become true.
