What is RSS?
RSS means Really Simple Syndication. This is a simple way to read blogs fast and effectively. RSS feeds are copy of the whole blog content but in the RSS page. Your blog’s RSS page is a simple and clean page to give your readers the ease to read articles.

I would also recommend everyone to redirect yourdomain.com/feed/ to the feedburner feed with htaccess. By doing so you can change source (feedburner) without losing all of your subscribers since you can simply redirect the url to a new service.
