Blogging is an interesting field and the best way to express your thoughts online. Now the blogging has been changed. It has developed as a business.Thousands of bloggers are making money by publishing articles, thoughts etc on the blog.
If you want to be a successful blogger, you need to create a plan for your successful blog like Blog Topic,Content,Regular Posting,SEO etc.
How often should you publish new post ?
Would you buy any weekly magazine next time if articles never changed ? Probably not.
If articles are new every week, you’ll buy next issue of the magazine. The same theory applies to blog content. If you don’t update your blog with a new post, there is no reason for people to visit. There is nothing new for them to see.
If you post new articles frequently and well written, readers may visit your blog again and again.I mean they will visit your blog frequently. You need to publish your blog posts frequently like some most famous blogs like Mashable, huffingtonpost or TechCrunch.
Why you should publish your post with more frequency ?
You know that every Search engine likes blogs because blog publishes fresh content.Fresh content is like the meat for search engine robots.Search engine robots and spiders crawls the blog for indexing the fresh content into search engines. If you publish your blog post more frequently,It means more frequency of Search Engine robots and spiders crawling and more indexing of your content in Search Engines.
You must visit and study the top blogs with more frequency of the content publishing like Mashable, huffingtonpost and TechCrunch.
If you publish the content on your blog more frequently, your blog readers visit your blog again and again to see what you have written new on your blog.
How to set the goal for publishing the content more frequently on your blog ?
Here are some tips to publish the content on your blog:
- For maximum growth: post multiple times per day to drive the most traffic (3-5 times or more)
- For steady growth: post at least once per day.
- For slower growth: publish at least every 3 days or 2-3 times per week.

Used to publish 3 posts a day but it consumed all my energy and my time. I couldn’t do any networking such as commenting, social media tasking and most of my posts were s*ck.
IMHO, the frequency of posting is differ from blog to blog and niche to niche. The best to get the right frequency is to expertise. I find that a post every 3 days works fine for me. I can spend more energy on Twitter, Stumble, Mixx and write better posts. And my posts are likely to have more comments than before and it doesn’t look like an island now.

mashable and other particular blog they have numbers of author so to publish 3-4 post per day and every day of every week for every month not a problem at all.. but like me there is only one author (me), to post that lot not just take time.. but could take your brain out..
but i always make sure that my blog is updated at least every two days.. like you say new content is important for traffic.
Sure sharma, but what always happening to newbie like me is too often no idea of what to say. It seem we need to stay alert at all time to trends and happening around us and blog about it as is seen to what you did to your blog.
Your blog really stir me up. I am a new blogger. Thanks for your articles.

I’ve found that it’s a lot easier for me to publish multiple times a day to my microblogs (like tumblr and posterous) than my “real” blog. I have launched my personal blog a few times and always struggle with finding the right kind of content to engage people and to further my career in one way or another, but the microblogs have such a short lifespan on the posts is easier for me to just throw up whatever random things I stumble across, which makes them, in the end, probably a richer portrait of me as a person.

I would say it depends on how much you got to say. If you publish posts about news like a newspaper you can post 3-8 new posts a day. Above this might frighten the most dedicated followers. If you write long in depth articles on several thousand words once a month might be well enough.

Hi Surender
That is a serious amount of blogging.
Sounds as though it could only be achieved by a professional blogger.
I can see why you need to post often but at the moment I just couldn’t spare the time.
