Google changes its Korean homepage this week,adding the blocks of popular news and links under the search box on the homepage.

Google has added the local taste to boost the interest of local users.It’s really big step taken by Google to change the simple look of its design and layout of the homepage to new look.

The move marks the first time that Google has altered the iconic appearance of its homepage to adapt to local market conditions, said Ted Cho, engineering site director for Google’s Korea unit. “I think the whole company is watching,” Mr. Cho said.
