WordPress 2.8 is ready to release but it will release on 10 June, Wednesday.
Release Candidate 1 (RC1) of WordPress 2.8 is now available for downloads.
If you are interested in testing out the release candidate or just want to try out WordPress 2.8 before it is finally released, you can download it from here, you can view the complete changelog to see the changes made since Beta 2, don’t forget to take a look at the new features in WordPress 2.8.
