I agree with you on the domain name, if you want to make it big then you need to have your blog on your own domain. It’s better to start off with and to end with. Build a name for your business and let it start to thrive.
I would maybe also suggest coming out with an ebook with some small help with something in your business. This way customers can read it and maybe refer others as well.
