Beware!PayPal Email Scam Turned into New Web Site Version.

Dear Readers,
I keep on getting hit over the head with this new type of the Paypal phishing scam.I have almost been fooled by this scam so many times.I figured to prevent the same issues with you.I figured it was way past due to post this really well done.PayPal scam mail.
I received following mail asking personal informations.

Dear PayPal Member ,.

We recently have determined that different computers have logged into
your PayPal account, and multiple password failures were present before
the logins. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us.
If this is not completed by April 11, 2009, we will be forced to suspend
your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes.
We thank you for your cooperation in this manner. To Confirm your Account
records click on the following link :

http://myprofile.paypal.com.cmd.login.kilkevdys.com/webscr/login.htm

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Please do not reply to this e-mail as this is only a notification.

When I checked the above given url then I reached on following page:

On this page I entered fake user name and password.I was surprised because original Paypal site often ask for correct user and pass otherwise they don’t accept the login details.

After loged in with fake user and pass I reached on another page.There was no deference between Paypal and this fake site.But when I carefully checked all the menu links and footer links they were unlinked links.

On this page they asked to enter my Card Details.

I checked this form carefully but there was no difference.Only difference I have found that ATM PIN. They asked to enter the ATM PIN.

Soon I entered 16 digit number “0000000000000000″ and PIN “000″.After this I have submit the page and I reached on another page.

But I was alert about my CC details,User name & Password.I checked all the links and URLs.All links were linked with forms only.Footer links were not working.There was no design deference between Paypal.com & this fake site.

Beware! You can lost your everthing if you give your accounts,Banking & CC details to this type of sites.

At last, please be careful that you don’t get caught by any phishing scams, such as the PayPal scam I described above. I’ll now call it a day- and I wish you a wonderful week.
